D41 Solutions (D41N) is the name of Drimaes in Viet Nam. D41 Solutions develops solution which can give authentic experience in mobility area. Since existing cars are evolved to smart cars, IVI(In-Vehicle Infotainment) becomes essential part of in-vehicle experiences. D41 Solutions efforts to provide autentic experiences to users through connection between IVI and everything. D41 Solutions dreams innovation of mobility experiences.

Working time: 2 October, 2023 - 8 March, 2024

After the graduation time and working time at the laboratory in Can Tho University, Embedded developer is my first job in the Drimaes Vietnam. I am so interested in this field because not only could I take a salary for the cost of living, but I also could widen my horizon of expertise in coding. Firstly, company culture is the core value of my improving travel in my work life. I can cooperate with foreign colleagues and clients because Drimaes is an international company. For instance, my boss who is Korean and my team always had meeting rooms to discuss projects twice a week. This opportunity taught me an adaptive way of Korean work leading ability to communicate with foreign partners. Secondly, it is best measured to practice the English language in a realistic environment day by day so that I will build my speaking skills for the IELTS contest.

Besides that, Mr.Thomas and Mr.Farmer have deep expertise and they train our team in 2 months. I am grateful for the efforts of their teachers because they guided me through Linux operating, Java, and the application of Android systems from zero to the current level. Thirdly, sometimes I am an extrovert, so I always became a player in badminton and soccer with all the members of Drimaes company because of my sports enthusiast. Additionally, the Year-end party is organized by the staffing company luckily I take on a member part of the organizers. Not only did I operate other teams to understand the deep character of each co-worker, but I also used event management skills during university time to contribute to a successful party.

Finally, I know that the company was affected by the economic downturn, and the executive board had to stop Drimaes Vietnam. Although I have a little regret because we would not accompany together as the last, I appreciate each member and the knowledge that I approached as a member of Drimaes when I stayed here. I want to send sincere thanks to Mr.Farmer, Mr.Thomas, and Ms.Step who are good teachers because they guide my first steps in the company. Especially, when Mr. Farmer came to Viet Nam in one month, I studied so much from you, such as attitude working and spirit sport. Thank you for your story about the government of the country, the rank of technology country, the teaching method, and your advice, etc. I would like to thank my team Alymer and Nathan accompanied many projects. Thanks to my co-workers of other teams who support my team in the last time. I wish all the best wishes to you and all your journey.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS TO PROJECTS AT DRIMAES VIET NAM

1/ Training time

• Study Java language, Linux, bound services, and git

• Research Binder, AIDL, and JNI, Docker, and Repository.

• Run comandline program (C and C++) on the board hardware.

• Use docker, compile operating and push program to the board hardware.

• Create system application with APK and app folder Projects.

2/ OTA (Over The Air) project (process)

• Modified the header file that defines the list of properties in the VHAL emulator client.

• Check and test packages on the cloud to download them to the board hardware.

3/ Broadcast Radio (Process)

• Draw UML diagram and analyst source code of Broadcast Radio

• Build another source code of Broadcast Radio on the current board and new operating system.

4/ Personal skills

• Write weekly report

• Self-education to research a new language and a new topic

• Prepare PowerPoint file and present the presentation

• Organize events

• Communicate and make relationships with foreign guests.
