Maker Innovation Space (MIS-CTU)

Welcome to the marker innovation space (MIS-CTU) which is the famous place of the technical field at Can Tho University. Firstly, MIS-CTU is located at the College of Information and communication technology and managed by the College of Engineering Technology. This place was established in April 2022 and sponsored by the BUILT-IT project. This is carried out between Can Tho University and Arizona State University (ASU).

MIS's mission is including:

• Consulting and implementing innovation activities in the field of engineering.

• Serving creative activities and scientific research of students and lectures

• Serving training activities of STEM for primary and high school in the Mekong Delta.

In MIS, we have four areas for students:

• Electronic shop

• Woodshop

• Metal shop

• Teamwork shop

I am happy and honored to become a technician in 2019. Luckily, I was given trusting of Ph.D. Dung and MIS's technicians to become the leader of MIS-CTU in 2022. Although I had many problems running MIS for the first time during the Covid-19 pandemic, I and my technician went over them to put the first steps for MIS in the future. For example, we organized the Marker Innovation Space forum (ASU-USAID) which is the first time to organize in VietNam . Besides that, we also have welcomed international and domestic delegations such as USAID Vietnam, an Internship program for Netherlands students, preparing for ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL), and the Ministry of Education and Training (MOE). Additionally, there is a professional academic environment where I can use MIS's facilities to join competitions such as EPICS and MEP.

Now this is the time to say goodbye to "The second home"

I was finishing the journey in Maker Innovation Space (MIS-CTU). I want to send thanks for my Ph.D. Dung creates the base for MIS technicians to meet and develop for each technical student. Especially, I thank Ph.D. Duy, who always takes care of and guides me with the first steps of MIS. I want to send gratitude to tutors, donors, and domestic and foreign visitors who have visited and supported MIS the last time.

Regarding "MIS-SWAT," I would like to thank my brothers, sisters, and friends for four years. They give me advice and support when I have problems with myself. I trust that new technicians will become excellent factors and be better than old technicians like me. Finally, Thank MIS as a friend that I study from you so much.
